Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester Instrument Debugging and Troubleshooting:

1. Zero adjustment of the instrument meter

After using the instrument for a period, adjustment may be needed. Adjustment method: Start the instrument, the light is on (do not connect the test sample), hold the test button, adjust the corresponding potentiometer on the panel until the meter indicates “zero ± 1 digit”. Voltage and current zero adjustment are performed separately.

2. Error adjustment of the Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester

After using the instrument for a period, if errors are found, adjustments can be made. After connecting the test sample, if the U1mA value is determined, assume it is 27.0kV, hold the test button, check whether the voltage meter reading equals the reference voltage U1mA (27.0kV) of the tester. If not, adjust the reference potentiometer on the left side of the voltage meter. After adjustment, release the test button.

Product Introduction:

The Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester is used for measuring and analyzing the leakage current of zinc oxide arresters (MOA). It can automatically measure the test voltage at 1mA and the leakage current at 0.75 times that voltage, thereby determining the moisture and aging degree of the zinc oxide arrester. It is suitable for testing zinc oxide arresters at 10kV and below.

The measurement circuit of the Zinc Oxide Arrester Tester includes a high-voltage output circuit and a leakage current signal acquisition circuit. The current signal is sampled from the leakage current dissipated by the test sample under the applied high voltage. It has a built-in 0-30kV digital control high-voltage power supply, which can operate in either constant voltage or constant current mode.
